Hydrate is built on a simple principle: your data is yours. We designed the App to work entirely on your device, with no servers, no accounts, and no data collection. This Privacy Policy explains what we do (and don't do) with your information.
We do not collect any personal information. Hydrate operates entirely on your device. All data you enter — including water intake logs, reminders, and preferences — is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers or any third party.
All App data is stored on your device using your operating system's local storage mechanisms. We have no access to this data. If you delete the App, all associated data is removed from your device along with it.
We do not use analytics tools, crash reporters, advertising networks, or any other form of remote tracking within the App. We do not know how you use the App, how often you open it, or what features you use.
Hydrate does not integrate any third-party SDKs or services that collect data. There are no social login buttons, no advertising libraries, and no data brokers involved in delivering the App to you.
If you enable reminders, the App uses your device's local notification system to schedule alerts. These notifications are triggered entirely on-device and do not require an internet connection or pass through our servers.
The App may request permission to send notifications (for reminders). We do not request access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone, or any other sensitive device functionality.
Hydrate is suitable for all ages. Because we collect no personal data whatsoever, the App complies with children's privacy laws including COPPA and similar regulations in other jurisdictions.
When you download or purchase the App through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, those platforms may collect information as described in their own privacy policies. We receive only aggregated, anonymised download statistics from those platforms and cannot identify individual users from that data.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), residents of the EU and EEA have the following rights:
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@get-hydrate.com.
If we ever change our data practices — for example, if we add optional cloud sync in a future version — we will update this policy and clearly inform you before any changes take effect. Your continued use of the App after such notice constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
